Our Story
A map of places to sleep past the end of the road, built by the people who found them.
Our Origins
The Overlanding began as a simple idea whispered around a campfire in the Spiti Valley. We realized that the best places to stop weren't on any map — they lived in the memories of local shepherds and seasoned wanderers.
What started as a WhatsApp group of friends sharing coordinates has grown into an open map anyone can add to. We aren't a travel agency; we are a collective of explorers dedicated to the art of getting lost.
We believe that every hidden valley and riverside clearing deserves to be discovered — but only with respect for the land and its people.
“Every hidden valley and riverside clearing deserves to be discovered, but only with respect.”
Our Core Values
Built by overlanders, for overlanders. We believe the best expeditions are planned together — sharing routes, recovery tips, and campfire stories.
Leave no trace is our code. We actively educate our community on sustainable overlanding practices and trail conservation.
We honor the land by learning from its people. Our expeditions support local economies and respect indigenous traditions.
Every route and spot is community-verified. Honest trail reports and transparent GPS data so you can overland with confidence.
Every great overlanding route deserves to be shared. We believe in open, community-owned knowledge for all explorers.
